Cumberland man arrested in connection with stabbings in Barron

According to the Barron Police Department, on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at approximately 5:38 pm, the City  Barron Police Department received a report of a stabbing in Anderson Park.
Officers from the Barron Police Department, the Cameron Police Department, and the Barron County Sheriff’s Department responded and found two male subjects with stab wounds. The victims were transported by Mayo Ambulance and flown to an undisclosed hospital.
Emmanuel Torres, 18, of Cumberland, was arrested in connection with the incident and transported to the Barron County Jail. With the assistance of the Barron Maple Grove Fire Department, Anderson Park was closed for several hours while the scene was processed by Law Enforcement.
The incident remains under investigation.
