High Speed Chase

Nikki L. Schnacky of Cumberland, has been arrested with multiple charges stemming from a late night car chase.
On Saturday, November 2nd, at 12:41 A.M., a Cumberland Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Berdan Street, but the vehicle failed to stop and headed south on US Hwy 63. The vehicle then turned west on Cty Hwy G with speeds at 80 MPH. Polk County was advised. The chase continued to Cty Hwy T when the vehicle turned south. The vehicle finally stopped at 20th Street and Silver Lake Drive, where a foot chase ensued. The subject was subsequently arrested.
Cumberland Police Department, Barron County Sheriff’s Department, and the Polk County Sheriff’s  Department all responded. Schnacky has been charged with fleeing, bail jumping, operating while revoked, (OWI related), possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Her court appearance is scheduled for November 27, 2019.
