Island City Music series hosts Chris Kroeze on June 13th

Chris Kroeze, the Nashville recording artist from Barron, will be playing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, in the Island City Music concert in downtown Cumberland. Kroeze, who sings country and pop songs, is performing the second concert in the 10-concert series on the east shore of Library Lake.
Kroeze has recorded an original song in Nashville, and he appears frequently at venues around Wisconsin and Minnesota, including The Five O’Clock Club. He has also performed for U.S. troops overseas.
The Island City Music series is sponsored by the Cumberland Area Business Alliance (CABA) with contributions from individual businesses and organizations. Ian Haugen’s Cumberland Boat Storage Dock & Lift is sponsoring the Chris Kroeze performance.
The Advocate is providing ads to promote the events.
There is no charge for attending the concerts. But you should bring your own lawn chairs.
Parents and staff of Island City Academy charter school will be on hand each Tuesday with the school district’s kayaks that can be taken out on the lake during the concerts. Free-will offerings will be accepted for the use of kayaks, with the donations going to ICA.
The concerts are being organized by a group called Cumberland Connect, which is working to develop places and activities in Cumberland that bring people together in gathering places.
