Middle School track
The Cumberland Middle School Track Team ran at Barron last week to open up their 2017 season. Coaches Bill McCreary, Jim Reidy, and Tanya Majewski were pleased with the results of the teams first meet.
Among those taking first place at the Barron Meet were seventh graders Jay Green in the boys 100-meter dash, Amie West in the girls 100-meter dash, and Elijah Tetner in the shot put, and eighth graders Greg Tetner in the 100-meter hurdles, Tanner Johnson in the 200-meter dash, Andrew Cunningham in the shot put, Matthew Friess in the long jump, the 4x100-meter relay team comprised of Jack Martens, Josh Martens, Sam Schradle, and Greg Tetner, and the 4x200-meter relay team comprised of Ben Ankarlo.
