Motorcycle vs. deer accident leaves driver seriously injured

On Saturday, August 3rd at approximately 2:30 p.m., Cumberland Police, ambulance. EMTs and  the Barron Co. Sheriff’s Department were called out to Highway B east of Cumberland for a motorcycle vs. deer accident.  
The driver of the motorcycle, Ronald Gallmeier of Baldwin,  sustained very serious injuries. A Life Link helicopter was called in from Hudson and transported the patient to Regions Hospital.  No further information was available on Gallmeier as of press time.
