Richard A. Sebens , 77, of Cumberland died Saturday, July 20 at Cumberland Healthcare. He was born September 19, 1941 in Milnor, North Dakota to Hilko (Bill) and Mabel Thorson Sebens. Richard‘s family moved to Cumberland in 1951. On September 22, 1962 he marry Darlene Erickson. He worked at 3M for 35 years and then became a professional driver, driving both semi and tour buses. He was also a Cumberland Volunteer Firefighter for 17 years. 
Richard is survived by his wife and daughters Tammy Sebens, Lisa (Jan) Matthys, sons Rick (Jess)Sebens, Jason (Terri) Sebens, Jamie (Becky) Sebens. 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren plus one more in September. Sister Ardell Capuzzi sister-in-laws Nita Sebens, Sharon Pearson, Brenda (Chuck) Ofelt, Bev (Rob) Davis, and brother-in-law Wayne Erickson. All his loving nieces, nephews, relatives and his very many special friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mervin, Lauren, and David.
Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons Gary McWilliams, Mitchell Sebens, Bryce Sebens, Taylor Matthys, Michael Matthys, Jeremy Heyer, Bradley Heyer, and Jacob Heyer, and granddaughters Heather Stedron, Eliza Orf, Lea Sebens and Krystal Driggs.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 2nd at Augustana Lutheran Church, Cumberland, in the Great Hall from 4-8:00 p.m. and on hour before the memorial service. 
The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd, at Augustana Lutheran in Cumberland, with Pastor Mark Bents officiating.
