State Bound!


The Cumberland Beavers advanced to the State Baseball Tournament with a 3-0 win over Chetek-Weyerhaeuser and an 8-3 win over Durand on Tuesday night. The Team plays at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14th in Appleton.

The Cumberland Beavers advanced to the State Baseball Tournament with a 3-0 win over Chetek-Weyerhaeuser and an 8-3 win over Durand on Tuesday night. The Team plays at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14th in Appleton.

The Cumberland School District will be offering a spectator bus to next Wednesday, June 14th State semifinal game in Appleton between the Beavers and La Crosse Aquinas. The Coach bus will leave at 7:30 am from in front of the high school and cost  $30.00 a person, which includes the ride and game ticket. A minimum of 30 passengers will be needed to run the bus.
 
If the Beavers win Wednesday, another bus would head to the State Championship game the next day, leaving at 6:30 am. That bus would also cost $30.00 a person. Tickets may be purchased in the High School office on Friday and Monday from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm and next Tuesday from 9:00 am until noon. By noon, a decision will be made if the bus will run.
 
Checks may be written out to the Cumberland School District
 
*There will also be a welcome home for the team next Thursday night, June 15, in the HS Cafeteria at 7:30 pm.
