For What It's Worth

It is vacation time for us.  We are going to take a bus trip. It is something we have never done before and we hope it is an enjoyable experience.  The trip, began this past Monday, will last 12 days and will take us to Nashville, Savannah, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach.  It will cross off another item on my “Bucket List.”  I have always wanted to see some of the history of  this part of  the country.   We are going to be “gawker” tourists as we  are going  to take carriage rides around the old city in both Savannah and Charleston.  I also want to stand on the shore and gaze out at Ft. Sumpter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.  So much of our country was formed by those shots.  Also featured is a stop at President Carter’s library. I look forward to seeing that.  When we return, I will let you know my feelings about a bus tour in general, and especially about the things we see.
I am going to take two weeks off and “God willing and the creek don’t rise,” I will be writing two weeks from now.
